you can 'cab' all the settings & other bits for different networks, but you will need to decert the phone like mentioned above using the orange developer site...

and even then to decert it you MUST have an Orange Simcard in for the app decert to work... (needs credit & to of connected to the internet via GPRS about 2-3 times (just load one page thats all))

sorry to crash the thread but does anyone know how to unlock an NEC E616V from the 3 network?

ive got this phone on o2 so yes it can be unlucked, make sure you know all the internet and gprs settings though as its a bitch to set up as it asks different things!

I haven't got it yet as he has a few weeks left of his contract, was just wondering if it can be unlocked. Cheers i'll have a look when i get it :thumbs:

well the one in the pic is the SPV original - not e200

take the batter off & lok see what it says

SPV Original is HTC Canary
E100 is HTC Tanager
E200 is HTC Voyager

It might be the original one im not sure, its 12months old as its just come out of contract, all that i kno at the m is that it looks like that one!!
