ipods are over rated, your paying for the name. You could get double the capacity for cheaper.

Can get a "napa" 256 meg for £50 from Dixons.

Don't rate the Sony though, personal opinion.

I got a mini-ipod, kicks ass. That or one of the Rios, the Karma, or the Carbon

you obviously have your ipod minis on top of that and normal ipods, which are both abit on the expensive side personally...but doo look cool :)
Also, IBM did one with little tape like drives, which supposibly worked well :)

tbh mate, theres loads...just do a google for mp3 player reviews or something and you will get some ideas of what to stay clear of and what not etc :)

depends how much storage you want mate :)

easiest one to use would have to be the creative muvo mp3 players :) You can pick up a 512mb jobby from ebay for around 100 quid (my bro got one for about 130 all in i think :)) and you basically unclick the usb bit, wack it in your pc and then drag mp3s and wma's to the "removable usb stick" - then slot it back in and off you go

if you after something bigger, then the creative zens are pretty good and iRiver is another good one (nismo will quote on that  ).

Her indoors wants an MP3 player. Although I'm a hi-fi nut, I know zilch about MP3 players. Can anyone recommend some decent models with:

reasonable storage capacity
OK for use on the move
good sound quality
easy operating software (she's not too hot when it comes to PCs and the like :o )

Cheers for any help
