quote: go to a scrappy, as kolin suggests - get a new steering knuckle, cv joint and all (it's all part of the same assembly, maybe even the ball joint for about 20 quid. at least that way it kinda rules out anything other than suspension/shaft.

I done that trying to get away from a copper wagon, pushed the wheel right into the arch! Bought a new wishbone and ball joint and fitted that was it :D

hit into a kerb doing about 35, then car got thrown over the road, skidded out nearly into an island!! when i hit the kerb on my passenger front wheel its damaged something, as when i straiten my steering wheel and have the driers wheel strait the passenger wheels nearly in full lock!!!! and when i put the drivers wheel halfway round to straiten up the passenger it sits out a bit form the arch, for eg if they were the wrong offset they stick out, |
