no, you want two partitions, otherwise if you delete something off one O/S it couldnt delete something (a file etc) then screw up ya other o/s. So you really want two partitions.

As for linux, you need two partitions unless you install linux with a FAT file system :)

also, drew, stick to 2k :) Unless you want the fancy graphic crap on your desktop....plus win2k is alot more stable than XP by far :thumbs:

hmmmm

well my 2k pro is fooked

so gunna install xp on same partition and see what happens :lol::lol:


not fussed if i lose everything on this drive

then i can decide if i should put 2k or xp on it when i format :)

i wud think it wud be orite to use say windows and linux on the same partition

but wudnt recomend using 2 different versions of windows as u wud get conflicts all the time surely?
