thanks trotty.

Neil - i got a good quality rag and placed it behind the bit where the winder goes into the door. Then just pulled on both sides quite hard in a back and forth motion. The clip just gets pulled out.

question for ya lads, how easy is it to take off the front door cards and replace the speakers?

Easy - 3 screws along the bottom, one in the big main door handle part, one behind the palstic cover behind the opening door handle (cover pops off) and one underneath the mirror backing (also pops off). Remove them, lower the window and remove the window seal strip thingy, then lift away and up - ta-da!

You'll want some speaker adaptors to fit new speakers in, can get them from any ICE place or Halfords, etc for about £15.

Neil - circlip removal tool  Or a couple of lil screwdrivers and muchos patience!
