what happens if they come back and tell u its a stolen engine.

does informing them get over the problem of needing a CAT for MOT

a cat for mot :lol: sounds like ghetto talk to me...

just send V5 with new cc and Engine number, mines sitting here, tax runs out end of march, hmmmmmm :lol:

no youll need to give them the engine number found on the engine block where gearbox meets can be hard to read to :lol:

have to tell them so it affects ya road tax if ya start off with a 1 litre or 1.2

Whats the legal lowdown for when you change your engine, obviously you have to inform the insurance company, but what happens to the records of your car? I.e On your V5 document? Do u have to tell them it has bigger engine?
