Mainly due to the price and choice of profiles :)

Good to see you've got it sorted.

God knows why I went on the catcams site  Newman are the ones to go for, you'll get them cheaper than Kent, and their range of profiles are better.

Ring them up, don't go by what the Kent site says, speak to David at Newman cams.

Pistons are having deeper pockets machined +2mm.I looked at the catcam but tbh not sure which way to go, the 1603 looks to suit the rev 3 -7.5 which is pretty much spot on for what i want on tarmac.

Are you using standard pistons? You'll have valve contact with a Kent 278° cam if you are.

You might get away with a catcams 4602419, that has a similar lift, but longer duration (272°)

Newman Cams, their prices are £280+VAT per pair, Broster will tell you how good they are.

Been looking at Kent COR1603 can get them around £570 plus verniers but thinking of using original pulleys keep cost down.

What do you have to spend?

New ones may not be as costly as you'd expect...

Anyone got a pair of cams for sale??

Would like to keep hydraulic lifters but will consider solids.
