lol not really not really sure what boed is though, dont supose you know mind me swapping my windows aswell because it'll look strange with an untinted window, dont mind doing it just not really sure how long it'll take.

swapped most my stuff over last night/today aswell n realised when i was taking the bumper off the cars been in a front ender so how much would you want for the thing, completly forgot what its called lol, the black metal rectangle barrier behind the bumper that connects the end of the chassis infront of the air con radiator.

yeah i kind of fixed it so it does it less often after the secondary air intake thing has turned off when i start the car.

just took the silicone of the inlet and put insta gasket on and cleanned up the throttle body with some lynx which did a pretty good job, ive got a spare icv but pretty sure i read somewhere in the haynes that it needs to be adjusted to the engine but not really sure how to do it, where abouts in cardiff you live mate?

Can you drive it at all? If you can get it too me I will do it. Got plenty of spares here aswell

Possibilitie the ICV is faulty or there possibly a leak where the insta-gasket doesn't do the job. Might be worth taking inlet of, clouting the throttle of and scrapping the sealant off and using a GM gasket. Maybe :)

yeah done that already but wanted to do a proper job. some reason when i start it now its revvin its tits off, would it be because whoever had it last used silicone sealant pretty much wherever they could :o so could it be the where the inlet gaskets suppost to be causing a bit of confusion for the idle control, map or maf sensor

you can do it while its in place mate, just get some carb cleaner (make sure its got the straw attachment) remove the top half of the inlet manifold and squirt a load down the throttle flap and then wipe with a rag. If you angle the straw, you can get it in the little hole on the side that is used for idle control
