i steam cleaned my first cars engine and it got water in the engine and blew a valve!!

id just do it my self then ya know its safe plus ya dont get water setteling and rusting the engine bay!!

i did mine and dint have no probs, jet washed it

just get ya self a degreaser spray, cover all over the engine, put a plastic bag over your induction kit and use a hose pipe and lightly rinse off the degreaser!! then with a spunge, cloth and oapy water get ya self under the bonnet and get cleaning!! top it off with some polish on all the painted surfaces and autosol on the metel!! then you will have an engine bay as clean as mine :D

remember the remove the plastic bag befor driving :D
