taken from UKHOTCARS.co.uk

I am proud to annouce, that the official UK Hotcars meets are back!!!!

And the new venue for the meets will be..................

Leisure Lakes

Yes thats right folkes, we are back, bigger and better than ever!

This is all arranged and agreed with the site owner, this will be a regular UK Meet venue. It will be still be the first Wednesday in the month, from 8pm

For those that were so concerned about paying a pound or any money towards entry to the new venue, dont worry, your money is safe, entry to the meet is completely free!!

Heres the information:

~ Wednesday 4th July 2007
~ 8pm onwards
~ Enter the Leisure Lakes, follow the signs to the UKHC meet

Directions: Just off A565 dual carriageway at Mere Brow, Leisure Lakes is 6 miles from Southport. 11 miles from Preston and 8 miles from Ormskirk

If you get on the A565, there are signs to the Leisure Lakes, heading to Preston it is just past the Riverside on the right, heading to Southport, it is on the left, either way its sign posted. If in doubt, please send me a pm
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en&tab=wl&q=

Notice:

Alot and time and effort has gone into securing this venue, we cant thank the site enough for having us there. So to protect the future of the venue, here are some rules

~ Any vehicle found to be hanging about on the venue other than the UKHC meets, will be photographed by Leisure Lakes security staff who patrol the site 24/7, pics will be sent to me via e-mail, and reported to West Lancs Police for trespassing. If the vehicles are recognised as members of the UKHC forum, you will be banned instantly for life from this forum. Of course if you intend to go into the Leisure Lakes and use there facilities, fair enough, but anyone who feels that they can use this venue as an alternative to the Plaza to hang about on other than the meet night, will be dealt with personally by myself in the means already mentioned

~ On the night of the UKHC meet, misbehavior like hand brake turns, donuts, speeding etc, you will be asked to leave, refusal to do so, will result in your reg taken and reported to the police

Thats it, i aim to protect the future of the site for us, last thing i want is the site owner contacting me saying its all over, im trying to avoid what happnend to the plaza. Help Hotcars to help you, support the event, dont ruin it

The ground is hard standing, and can accommodate a large number of cars, as low as they come, no problem

Here is what it looks like, sneak preview

Its alot bigger than it looks

There is a cafe on site for food and drinks, which the site owner is prepared to open especially for us
