Membership and registration data is taken to authorise users to use other facilities offered by the admin. Certain data taken in this context is also used to provide facilities to other users eg. member search, profile lookup etc. If the opportunity for the input of personal or business data (email addresses, name, postal addresses) is given, the input of this data takes place voluntarily.

Corsa Sport also holds administrative data such as page requests in the form of web server access logs and also logs of database queries for the purpose of monitoring and improving our systems.

Corsa Sport is bound by UK law and as such operates within the Data Protection Act. Adherence to this is monitored by the UK Information Commissioner, http://www.ico.gov.uk/

Data held under the act may be disclosed to any person to whom we consider that it would be expedient to do so, for the purposes of preventing, detecting or discouraging crime, for the apprehension or prosecution of offenders, identification of users who are potentially in breach of service contracts in respect of online behaviour or for the recovery of stolen vehicles or other property. Without limiting the foregoing, you expressly agree and consent to us disclosing any such information about you to (a) a person who, in dealing with you has volunteered funds in good faith in pursuance of goods or services, (b) the police or other law enforcement authorities or (c) service providers, employers, academic institutions or any such upstream organisation who oversee access via their facilities.

It is your legal right to know what personal information Corsa Sport holds about you. Queries should, in the first instance be directed to ian@corsasport.co.uk although formal requests must be made in accordance with your rights as a data subject by writing to our postal address, which will be supplied by return of email.

The Information Commissioner will not intervene on matters where Corsa Sport internal procedures have not already been exhausted.
