The engine fitted to the 1.5D is the 4EC1 and in the TD the engine code is 4EC1T.

Both engines are identical apart from the

  • Fuel Pump
  • Inlet Manifold
  • Exhaust Manifold
  • Air intake piping
  • Turbocharger

    The 1.5D has a compression ratio of 22:1 and the TD has 21:1

    The 1.7D uses the same engine but with larger pistons
