Ok, I’ve got a budget of £500 for a laptop (decided my desktop is alright for now but could do with something for on the move).

Where would my money be best spent for this budget?

How’s this one look? https://www.ebuyer.com/803890-msi-pl62-7rc-gaming-laptop-9s7-16jd21-068

On a serious note buy a 1-2 year old used i7 MacBook Pro or iMac.. They are designed for graphical work.

It'll play Farmville and Minesweeper in 60fps

It says "Gaming PC" but only has onboard graphics, so it pretty much won't play anything of the last 10 years...

No idea how that impacts your requirements, but I'd be cautious based on that alone.

Is this a plug and play desktop and is it any good? I’ll be using it for audio production and have a sound card to fit. Will use it for Adobe Lightroom so nothing major but FL Studio would be the highest consumer of RAM I imagine. Or could you point to me to something similar (better) for a similar price?
