You want to see of mine, packed like a pillow with sheets of foam rubber I've stolen from bins outside a shoe factory, you'd have thought they'd tolerate being lashed round the parcel depot but they somehow still manage to fuck them.

He should've packaged it better then. He caused the problem in my eyes by wrapping it inadequately.

Its not dodgy, he'll lose seller rating because of the defect which he didn't cause.

I had a nightmare last year with eBay, sold an Audi steering wheel and the guy decided he no longer wanted it a week later. I said fair enough, il refund u when I get the item back so he sent eBay a tracking number, they refunded him automatically and I received fuck all basically. The parcel company said he actually got them to scan the item then took it back instantly when they picked it up, all of which he denied. If this isn't bad enough, 6 months later he contacted eBay, said he was lying before about sending it back to me and admitted he'd scammed me but the controls on the wheel had broken and wanted a refund so eBay then withheld the money from me AGAIN.. fucking joke

All my old work boots go on there, they sell even better if there's a bit of wear on them

I know, I only stuck them on there as they could be classed as vintage and I thought I would try my luck rather than chuck them out, not something I would buy but people collect all sorts of shit

Why would anyone buy 20 year old trainers to wear

Recently got stung myself, sold a pair of trainers I bought in the late 90's and never wore, a month after posting them I get a message and a picture telling me they fell apart after an hour of wearing them.

Think he may well still be able to send it back to you for a refund but if he's planning to skimp on the postage because you don't pay (that you don't have to) then you may well find he'll do it normal untracked at which time you can claim it didn't arrive.

Pretty sure he can still open a dispute and get his money back. It's ebay buyer guarantee.

Listed a battery volt gauge on eBay other week ,listed it as used condition(eBays definition of used is that item might have signs of wear ), and a buy it now at £80 +£4 postage (gauge cost me £172 ), and someone clicked buy it now within 20 mins, packaged it up properly and sent it fully insured at a extra cost to me £7ish , few days later he messages me saying he had received it and was not happy as I didn't tell him about the scratch in the dial face (was no scratch before I sent it ) so I asked for pictures as I will contact parcel company , he sent me some crap pics that you can hardly make out the scratch and even he said he was struggling to pick it up with the camera , I then offered him his £80 back if he returned it to me and that I would not be giving a part refund , no reply for a few days till he had left me negative feedback (first one I've had ) , now 2 days later he has Msged me asking if I will be paying for postage to sent it back to me as its my fault as I didn't tell him about the scratch (this is after he has been in contact with the gauge company about getting a new face on it and then telling him it's going to cost x amount ), |
