That's pretty cool, even more so when you have some of the original names written on the walls and hats, makes it much more personal.

I bet the paperwork would be quite an interesting read too

Some decent sized houses round the factory though to be fair, just heading up the hill toward Hall street.

We have 3 factory's, our main HQ is Hinckley where I work most often, but I visit Dudley quite frequently too as our biggest operations generally happen there, then we have a signage company in a rugby but they're moving to Hinckley soon.

There's so much more down there I think, the foundations under the building are like time capsules, loads of stuff down there from way before my company moved in. It was a car factory at one point as well as munitions factory during world war 1.

I read this yesterday, crazy that a place just lay untouched for so long.

So this happened at the company I work for.

The factory is huge so not too surprising that there are rooms they haven't opened for 50 years

I think we're hoping to get the pump restored and donating the actual fire station and contents to the Black Country Museum.

Pretty cool find I think.

Even better is one of the actual firemen that worked there in that very room saw the article and is now going to pay it a visit, he's 84 years old now.
