Problem is, like most public services, the NHS is haemorrhaging money - you've got head of trusts on £200k+ and money being wasted on daft projects (just look at the IT system they attempted to implement a few years back) :facepalm: They need to massively curb spending and plough that saved cash into actual hands-on staff like doctors and nurses.
