Originally posted by Steve This guy is a right cunt
This is a question for Deagostini. Would you consider retooling the cockpit canopy halves that came in issue 6?. As they are highly inaccurate and have a very nasty join line in the middle. As this area of the model a focal point I feel it is important to get it right as you state this is supposed to be a replica and indistinguishable from the filming miniature once completed. The frames are too thick all round the upper half, the front windows need lowering down, the join should have been tooled in a panel line and not slap bang in the middle. There are also a few other details which are wrong but I cannot remember at the moment. Could we have an answer to this question as I know lots of members on here and face book are wondering if you will do something about it as you have been asked this before a few weeks ago when the issue was published.

Hello Deagostini, Regarding the project manager considering a re-tool of this part, when can we expect an answer to this from them? As many of us on this Forum and FaceBook pages are awaiting a response so we can finish off the Cockpit and move on so to speak. Otherwise I imagine a lot of people will be getting third party parts to replace a badly made one. Can we have an answer one way or the other. Thank you.

Hello, It has been brought to my attention that there is no metal frame work to support the forward mandibles of the model! As this going to be a future asset for most people wouldn’t it be prudent to provide some as the blueprints show none and the Master replicas Falcon which yours is based on had none either and suffered sagging in the area due to lack of support! I know this as I know people with the MR version and I have a photo as well of the mandibles sagging downward. Regards Gary
All the same guy, what a tool
