Thats bad man, I used to get around 300 miles to a tank which is about £32-£33. But now I get 250 to a tank, dunno why, just put up with it, yet yours is massively out.

A technician at work told me today that he could smell fuel on my 1.4 8v, and to get a new engine temperature sensor, as it thinks the engine is cold all the time, so is injecting more fuel

Sounds like it's running horribly rich at cruise, and an emissions test should confirm this. Get a garage to check.

I've got a Corsa GSI and i've recently had a 1.6 16v sport engine fitted only it seems to be drinking a lot of petrol. I'm getting about 190 miles to £30.00 of fuel. Does anyone alse have a 1.6 sport and how much petrol does it use? |
