any one know where it is on a 1.2 8v cause i keep gettin fault code comin up saying theres a problem with the idle air control code 35 i think.

haha, it wasn't that hard to get to in my nova!

Its a small black cylinder about 4cm diameter, about 4cm high. When you take it out it has a small shaft with what looks like a spring around it.

C20XE has a different design, its in a breather pipe behind the bottom of the inlet manifold, its a silver cylinder about 3" long with about 1" diameter.

its a bit of an arse to get to , undo your header tank and more it to one side, first remove ya battery to gain more space, you should see the throttle body now, remove the fuel inlet and outlet thats connected to the fuel rail and if ya lucky you might be able to remove it now, its on the side of the throttle body, if not you gotta remove the top of the inlet manifold!!!!.
If its ya TPS then thats worse cos this sensor is under the idle control valve and its a big job

yes, its a Corsa B Gsi C16XE.

wat does it look like? how can i check its running ok???

Assuming this is a 1.4/1.6 16v.
Its on the side of the throttle body, on the right hand side of the engine. 2 torx bolts hold it in, it has a 4 pin connector on it.

its in the throttle body assembly i think, before the head.

i think my cars idle control valve is blocked coz the revs have gone crazy!!!

but im not sure wat the idle control valve is and how to check or repair it???

can someone help me out?
