If you U2U steveboyslim he has sets of astra 2.0 16v brakes for sale, callipers, disks and pads all brand new and GM stuff for 130 i dealt with him and was very happy with dealing. 140 once he adds postage so a deal in my eyes.

Who'd recommend a V6 upgrade with braided hoses over the GSI brake upgrade then?

they go in the boards I go on for 50quid most the time, but if u get a good breakers u cud undercut that loads!!! I needed a new caliper when I shredded the head on one of my calipers on the old nova, and it costed me 5er lol- just shop round, dont pay over 50, dunno if thats with or without discs :)

I need to buy new brakes, I was thinking of a V6 upgrade however Im now tempted by the Astra 16V brakes due to fears of spongy brake pedals and over braking etc.

Thing is Im not realy sure what Im looking for - in terms of price, disk size, 2nd hand or new? Ive asked on Migweb for 2nd hand ones but are they ok? safe? worth it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated - Thanks!
