Got the same problem matey, my cars going in on Wednesday for a front end re-spray (HIT a DOG) her insurance is paying, getting the front wings sprayed so thinking about blaggin a full side re-spray too, might say the paint dont match and i aint happy, the dog only damaged the bumper and so far i have managed to blagg re-spray on bonnet and winds, and they are gonna flat and smooth my brand new GSI bumper!!!!
Try it you got nothin to lose oh and i get a courtesy car!!!

if its done on insurance then you should get a top class job cos they have to be insurance approved, if they do it and you dont think its been done to the standards you wanted then tell them to fix it, you are perfectly in your rights to tell them. you could even blag a full respray cos you dont think its been blended well enough.

also, shall i bother telling them about this extra work, or leave it to em?

it's through the other persons insurance, so im not paying n e thing.

Another thing actually, can i specify i want the paint blended in? -

it's having a new door, 3/4 + sill, and i want it blended into the wing as well....

cars red btw and we all know what a bitch it is for fading...

cause some one crashed into the side of it n e ways -

they have to weld a new 3/4 panel in place, which is fine, but i've just realised i've got a tonnes of sound deadening inside the boot and on the 3/4panel, well basically every bit of bare metal has sound deadening on.

are they gonna still beable to get at the welds and stuff, cause sound deadening doesn't really come off once put on...

cheers
