the engine looks like our 1.6 16v but with a different inlet manifold... :boggle:
where's the airbox/induction though....
hope you're not letting it suck in air non-filtered.

Jeez, that engine is a wreck!!The haynes/max power manual is good if you are modifying. If you are after a simple manual for the corsa, the Haynes one is the best. That picture shows the C16XE engine. It was fitted to Opel and Vauxhall spec models. I believe that the Chevrolet Corsa was fitted with the 1.6 8v unit, just like they were in South Africa. But dont quote me on it!! BTW, Tim or RA, could we change the website header to "for Vauxhall, Opel, Chevrolet Corsa and Holden Barina"

Hi, I'm new here in the forum. I have a doubt, someone knows if exists some kind of performance book and/or a service manual for the Corsa 1.6 16v GSI? Haynes have one published togheter with Max Power magazine...is this good? Exists another?
GM imported these cars from Europe (they are opel), but the engine is not shared with our Corsa builded here (Chevrolet Corsa). At least the header are not the same, we have one 1.6 16v builded here, but is different of the imported GSI
I'm sending a picture of the engine, later I send some of the car.
