Just cleaned of Fault Codes 100 & 102 off my ECU with the store's code reader.

"MAF SENSOR - INTERMITENT LOW"

"Click" - Fuck Off!

I'm also looking for a solution to this.. I'm assuming that there isn't one, which is a bit of a bastard to say the least. Pissed me off having the garage charge me 35 quid for the code reading then have the cheek to tell me they wanted 200 quid to fix my EGR valve. Went home. Cleaned it. ECU Light = OFF

I just got ripped off 35 quid from vaux dealer to read fault codes from my ECU
using a TECH2. I watched him do it, it took him less than one minute.
I'll NEVER buy another vauxhall. Can anyone recommend an aftermarket code
reader? My car is 1998 1.0L, it appears you can't get the codes by shorting wires on the service socket and counting the lamp flashes unlike earlier cars
- and by the same token the crappy gunsons thing that halfords sells won't work. Anyone know how to read the bloody fault codes without being ripped off each time?
