Just wondering if i'll have any problems with 15" ET49 wheels running on 185/55/15 tyres?
As the offset is dead on I'm presuming everything will be ok

What offset are Corsa wheels ?

I have just swapped my 17" Wolfrace Ikons with 205/40 tyres from my old Cavalier (ET49) to my new Corsa B (ET ?).

They look pretty wide (and mean!) - can I lower it or will I have problems ?

i was shocked at the difference (no PS btw) between the standard 165/13s and 195/15 alloys, the steering was way heavier, i cant imagine the arm wrenching required from even wider 17s

what car u got sri_tastic? is it lowered?

kriscorsa

do you think i'll be ok with 16's?
when i get my kit i dont want the front bumper to get scraped by speedhumps & bumps in road. and i think it will look crap having 15's on with a bodykit, theyre too small as it is

I had 17`s went back to 15`s 17`s are good for looking good but slowed my car down a fair bit and steering was much heavier especially as i aint got PS.

do you think its a good idea then or should i get 16"?
was ur car lowered?

i jus had 17" on my corsa C
noticed:
heavier steering after 2 turns
need morebraking force to stop
torque steer

I have my corsa lowered 60mm all round on 15" alloys with 195/45/15 tyres.
I want to get a body kit but i think i will need bigger alloys so that the front bumper isnt too close to the ground.
if i put 17" alloys on would i have any problems?
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks
Kris
