I would have to say "go for JL's boyo"

OR:

Focal Utopia
Diamond M5's (although they are a little pricey and they are almost too accurate)
Boston Accustics
Rockford FNQ's (like my layee's ones ;) )

over 2 1/2 years of caning! was just out cruising, pulled onto the motorway and it made a horrible loud fart type sound! (probably the VC going up in smoke!) They lasted bloody well though, brilliant SQ right up till the end! Not keen on the look of phase linears, the PolyK's yellow-ness makes them stand out and look different, just a shame the crossovers look so bland, but they'll be on show anyway! All part of the fiberglass plan! Just added up the cost of my fibreglass bits:Resin, Hardener, Mat, Mixing pots, Brushes, Mixing Sticks, Gloves and Releasing Agent(Wax) £97.96. Thats a lotta fibreglass and bits though, for the money!

a mate of mine got Phase Linear Audiophiles, they sound superb.

How did u end up blowing the infinity's?

Ive now blown my very loyal infinity's and feel its time to upgrade. I have £300 to spend and want nothing smaller than a 160mm mid-bass driver. Have been looking at Focal PolyK's - 165K2

Or MIGHT be convinced to buy the 165K3's or Utopia 165W's.

Any other bright ideas? CDT? Boston? Diamond?

Not JL, want something different!
