use your old speaker mount, cut out the old speaker and glue in your new 6.5" comps! I have alpines and they fit like the old 1's!

Are they really easy to fit?? How??

Also how easy are new tweeters to fit??

OFF TOPIC:- Whos is the Vauxhall vectra 3.0 24v in your garage..... I used to have a 1.8 (2001) vectra, but it became to expensive to run :( ....... bet yours is a Biatch on Fuel?
it's easier to take the door cards out and then just snap the grill bits out with some snips it's really easy then just screw your new speakers in..oh and the 3.0 gsi is mine iv'e had it a couple of years now and i bought it modded. i only use the corsa in the week as the veccy is a bit juicy to use all the time

Where the tweeters a straight swap then??

Also instead of getting 6x9's is there a way of just changing the rear speaker and keeping them where they are??

i also thought about doing that but wanted a better sound and on the corsa C the grill were the speaker is the slots face down so it would push the sound down i recon!

the speaker size on the corsa c is 17cm.i know because i swapped my door speakers about a month ago.really easy on the corsa c.also they have the pods allready fitted to the door so you can fit quite a deep speaker into them.oh and and the tweaters are on a different bit of the loom so they still work fine.i don't know about the rears as i put 6 x 9's in the parcel shelf and disconnected them:thumbs:

I have 17cm Phoenix Gold components in the doors. You will need the Autoleads 17cm adapter kit. You can also buy the 13cm adapter kit and leave the small plastic ring off to fit 17cm.
Unhook the standard rears and fit 6x9s.

im wanting to upgrade the stereo equipment - speakers and CD/Kenwood keg system
