thanks for all the great advice. i have a 97 sport, it already has a anti roll bar. i understand about the camber thing. just wanted to know why is there a adjuster on the strut brace. if it is only for easy installation. then that explain everything.

The adjuster is ONLY for ease of fitting!! Its not meant to put any load constantly on the suspension turrets! You guys are talking about adjusting the camber, you need eccentric top mounts for this or re-drill the holes in the turrets. I have a mild steel brace, its adjustable. Im running a 1.2 16V with spax RSX coilovers. It has made NO difference what-so-ever to the handling. I proably could notice the extra weight of it more than the feel of different handeling characteristics!! Waste of time and cash in my oppinion. Going to up-grade the roll bar, see if that helps things...

My GSI has them standard, also the adjuster allows for tolerance i m sure no corsa is the same strut to strut

strut braces do fuck all without a awesome suspension kit, namely coilovers. Even then the difference will hardly be noticable. If you have a basic model corsa, look at fitting an anti-roll bar from the Sport 1.6/GSi. This will improve stability no end.

if pre-tensioning the bar will create handling problems, why is it adjustable? are you suppose to adjust it so it has no tension? by the way, thanks for helping

Pre-tensioning the bar will create push... anytime you tighten up something it will create those wheels to loose traction earlier if you don't have enough corresponding suspension travel or the tires to maintain grip.
