From a broken Astra GTE dash. I'm sure someone on MIG would have one for next to nothing.

so a normal digi dash doesnt just plug in then? i want 1:D

The regular digi dash is rectangular and is difficult to get a good "cosmetic" fit to the curved Corsa dash space. Mines been built into a modded Astra dash housing which is curved and fits the Corsa perfectly. The back has been wired to simply plug into the existing Corsa loom with no modding, so its simple to plug the original dials back in if needed.
Sorry djlee for hijacking the thread ;)

The digi dash is a different shape to the corsas how did you get it to fit with no gaps

The one above simply plugs straight in to the Corsa, no mods needed at all. A regular digi dash isn't too difficult to fit as a number of people on here will verify.

Yours plugs straight in???? What is it then and where can i get one?

A cheap alternative might be to get the rev counter from a duff GTE digital dash. You could then change the colours exactly how you wanted it. Example below.

Sounds like a maplin kit... wonder if they have something similar.

Refer: Silicon Chip April 2000.
Unlike its bulky predecessor from August 1991, this PIC based tachometer is housed neatly in a small jiffy box (83 x 54 x 31mm), which mounts nicely on your dashboard. Its amazing features include 4 digit LED display showing up to 9,900rpm in 100rpm increments, 10 LED bargraph with optional dot or bar mode (showing 8 independent rpm thresholds), calibration options for 1 - 12 cylinder 4-stroke or 1 - 6 cylinder 2-stroke engines, anti-display flickering feature and automatic night time display dimming. This kit can also be combined with our rev limiter KC-5265, to perform engine limiting.

Kit includes case with silk-screened panel, PCB¹s, pre-programmed PIC micro, 7 segment displays, red acrilic, hook-up wire and all electronic components.

This is a product from an Australian electronic store you might want to consider. Retails for $62.95 so that would be around 20-25 pounds plus postage. Go to www.jaycar.com.au and search for product code KC5290

Might want to email them and see if they export if you are interested.

Aint got one, thought it'd be ideal for people without a rev counter though!
Ive got my ECU warning light wired up as a shift light now, but only cos ive got a race ECU.
I used to have one of the shift lights from demon tweeks that had 4 red lights which you could adjust when they came on.
Just plugged into the cigarette lighter and worked quite well, until i got some neons (which interfered with it), cost more too - £60!
Dont think you can go wrong for £25 with the maplin one.
