I have alpine Type-S components not type-r and they fit a treat and sound very good. Also were a bargain at £49.99.

my windows wont move very far, i got 17cm type r's, im currently making pods and still running my old speakers for the mean while

the windows will go down, but u will feel abit of resistance.

yes they dont fit - I brought a set and cause at the time I didnt want to make door builds, I had to take them back and swap for some which would fit - basically they hit the window winding mechanism...

Stubbsys got them in his but in one of carbon door builds and a one off roof pod

is anyone on here running alpine components? if yes did you have any trouble with the mounting depth???
