You'll only gain about 5bhp from cams....

I cant really reccomend any tbh, someone here should be able to though.

They all have different specs of cams in their ranges. From mild to wild. They will be able to advise you which will work ok with standard management. You can only get away with fairly mild ones with standard management as you cant use vernier pullies. Thats why I said they are not really worth it on these engines. You'd be much better off putting the money towards a new inlet manifold.

you only need springs and followers if you are buying a very wild kit. These wont run on standard management.

cheez miles bud when u see cam kits and cam shafts take it the cam shafts will be good enough without buying the full kit with springs/followers etc

There was meant to be a 4 after the 1. to make a 1.4/1.6 16v.

The 1.4 and 1.6 share the same cams except the the c16xe has a hotter exhaust cam i think.

Get a replacement inlet manifold before you think about cams.

The best cams for the money are probably standard ones on a 1./1.6 16v road car without other major mods.

What engine is it?

Have you thought about getting your original cams re-profiled?

after some cam shafts there are shrick/kentcams/piper cams all these are awesome but over 450 quid or approx are there any slightly cheaper or would spending the extra be worth it
