i paid £65 for the fiat coupe turbo disks, but sent em back, you have to drill the holes bigger to make them fit though, still cheap way to get big brakes

guy i bought the calipers off gave me the wrong ones:mad: i asked for vectra v6 and he has just given me the normal gte ones so now have gte brakes instead of the ones i wanted. fiat coupe disks do fit on you just have to drill the holes to make them a bit larger.

The V6 disks I have were never 5 stud, they were never drilled with 5 holes, only 4.

How much are these fiat disks?

Better to modify the Fiat discs than re-bore 5 stud discs.

exactly y use discs off a diffo make of car??
Why not just buy the £200 kit from v-tuning that has the V6 callipers, pads and 4 stud V6 discs????

why didnt u buy V6 disks then get them re-drilled?

M2RTY

posted on 14th Aug 03 at 13:30

cos they didnt do a v6 4stud

aftermarket 4stud disks are expensive

Gambit

yes you can buy them seperate

fiat stud pattern is 4x98, Vaux is 4x100

what size are the disc's, are they the same size as the vectra v6 disc's?

why did u buy fiat coupe turbo disks to begin with?

secondly i presume u need the caliper carriers for the calipers

right i am in middle of a 2.0 16v conversion on a corsa b. originally it was a 1.4 16v ecotec sri. got the engine in, need to wire it up.

only problem i have is been sorting the brakes today, got vectra v6 calipers with fiat coupe turbo disks and v6 pads. the disks wouldnt fit so i have drilled them slightly so they now fit. come to put the calipers on and the bolts where you bolt them on are in totally different places????? have i got the right calipers?
