M4tt: Its a custom box i made myself, i havnt had any problems as in sound with them facing each other!!!! No ICE shop or ICE guru who has seen it has said its wrong!!!!!

Mav 3000: Yep i can still get the seats down cuz i did the back angle to run slightly out of line with the back of the seats so the 60/40 split bracket didnt get in the way and so i had a small amount of room to run some wires with crushing them!!!!!

Can you get your back seats down cheeky? Weird question i know or do they hit the sub boxes at the back at the bottom?

cheekycorsa are those boxes custom or jsut normal ones tuned in their side?

im trying to think of easy ways to do a bootinstall.

Does it matter having the subs pointing toward each other as in the pic above?

does it make a diff if their ported pointing towards each other...

Do u reckon there will be 0.4 cubic feet in each section behind the sub? That's what is recommended for these subs. And will one amp running at 2400w rms @ 1ohm be enough to power 2x 1000w rms subs, each with two 2ohm coils?

yeah i got corbeau carrera buckets in red, my car is a black SRi with the red stripe down the side, so i want to kepe the whole red and black theme. I retrimmed the door cards in black too, colour coded the interior red, and im getting the back seats done in red and black as soon as i get some £. I saved up enough to get my sideskirts fitted, then had to spend it ALL on garage bills in the last 2 weeks :(

oh gotcha - should be ok then. Red would look good too I think.

the bottom pic is a power cap (in gold) and the fuse holder/distribution blocks above that. I got an MP3 headunit, so im not bothering with a changer.

dont know if the boot is deep enuf 4 the changer and whatever else it is on lower left pic to fit side by side like that

boot is only about 66cm deep.

and does dual 2ohm coils mean its 1ohm impedance overall? Cos the amp i was looking at is an audiobahn 1x 2400wrms @ 1ohm

drunkenfool

do u reckon theres enough space for a 12" sub to work properly, or will i need ports etc? The subs i was looking at are these..

top left is betta i think.

would be betta if ya used a ruler :P

drunkenfool

wot do u lot reckon then? I think i prefer the top left one. I know the top right one has been done before, i think CorsaSRi16v has it (correct me if im wrong), but how about the others? I know there are limited ideas with simple installs, but i want to make it as unique as possible!

Ive been doing a couple of sketches at work of possible installs for my car, could anyone host the pictures for me please? (There are three!) Not particularly artistic, but should be good enough to get a rough idea. I would like advice on practicality of building, sound quality etc... Cheers if anyone can help!
