BTW if your engine has a Siemens SimTec ECU, you will not be able to reset the ECU like you can on engines with Multec/Motronic ECUs. The only way it can be reset is by Tech2 at Vauxhall.

The engine in my old Corsa was actually a 1.2 16v, hence why there was lots of room!

i have a k&n universail cone......just took the top of my air box off + the paper element. stuck the cone on the end of the inlet.......

cost me £30 and sounds way better than any £80 induction kit on a C.

the bottom of the standard airbox acts as air flow.......you dont need shit loads of pipes running all over the show..

at the end of the day, it's a 1.2...

DAVE....... On the pic its a K&N not the BFO.... I have the BFO too an i am struggling to sort a cold air feed as it fills up the whole gap left by the airbox, may jus go back to panel filter an drilled airbox... If u drill it properly an get a K&N panel filter it sounds nearly the same as the BFO..

i think you sxi owners should drill your standard boxes instead, cause the sound you get outa an induction kit is really crap.

and lets face it, you buy an induction for noise only.

depends....u got a good sence of humor?? :)
IMO it is the worst car i have ever heard with an induction kit. Clio, puntos bigger engined corsa...much better!

I am jus going to get a full exhorst...won't even hear the induction then :)

Well i've got the BFO and a sebring backbox, you can't really hear the shitty buzz noise of the engine anymore. I'm getting the centre section for my exhaust soon hopefully so it'll be even louder

5xi

deep ...it was...but a constant tone just getting louder as revs increased. I thought a induction kits was meant to give an induction 'roar'.

ppl laughed at the sound me car produced ....along with that horribe 'buzzin'f noise. Other than that i think the car is ace :)

Mine did the same, i stuck loads of felt onto the inner side of the wing and the metal area on the end of the cone
