depends on how far the suspention is compressed!! but i wouldn't think so as its just running as normal! thinks its got weight in it because it has! only get problems like lock up when you lower the car and it think its go a heavy load but it hasn't

its got a 12" sub and a 1200watt amp but hasnt been lowered yet. Would the sub an amp be enough weight to make it lock up?

wheny uo lowered the car mate did you have you your rear break controler adjusted???? in corsas the rear breaks break harder when you have a car full of people or boxes! its works on the suspention! when the car is full the suspention goes down and make the rear break break more! when you lower a corsa it just thinks you have a car full of people and the rear breaks break more and thats why you get rear lock ups!!

right i jacked it up and the wheel will spin pretty freely theres a little rubbing but al brakes do this dont they?
and when i shake the wheel there is a little play on both sides?? so i think this maybee normal.
also the bias vavle when jacked up has no tension but when lowed back to the ground it is under a bit of tension.
any help is appreciated coz i cant afford to take it the garage so im doing it myself

if ya stop - feel ya alloy - if it is really really hot, get a wheel bearings checked - when mine went - my alloy got totally scolding (this could make the paint come off)

i think what "corsasport1.416v" said is tru because it sounds strange 4 the back to be lockin up and the garages sayin its o.k ! get the bias valve checked because it could be set /seased in to high a position.

ive got brided hoses to go on soon so ill get the fluid changed and have the whole rear setup cheked out me thinks

i havent lowered it yet
the rears have loked up bout 6 times since i owned it "bout a year"
had them cheked twice at different garages
they said it was all ok

a while back it locked up sent me sideways into a spin so i want it fixed for good coz its starting to piss me off

animality-gt

u mite of just locked up the back left drum which is why u pulled to the left and the heat probly melted the paint, just replace the shoes and get some one to check it out cos u dont want it happenin again.

i think my bias valve is bolloxed:mad:
had to stop quickly and the rears locked up and i went a bit sideways:!
but after inspection i also think the rear left has seized of is faulty
coz the paint on the drum has melted and sprinkled itself round the inside of the wheel:o:mad::!
WTF
any advice?
