I assume you have removed the screws? There are two more screws above the heater switch that need removing from behind the panel, they hold the white part to the fascia. See the holes just above and to the left and right of the heater switch in the pic.
To remove the heater switch, there is a clip either side of the white knob shaft, just squeeze these together and the switch will pull out.

ive done everythin except taking the rear heating windscreen motor out...i dont know how to take it off, it wont budge!

i have a 1.2 16v club 1999 model...ive got the haynes manual, and its says undo retaining clips...but i cant see them..n the thin will physically not budge.

any help appreciated!:look:
