I have seen the torque tube give 21bhp extra at the wheels!
Engine wasn't standard though!
Should give 20bhp at fly extra though!
There plenum and unichip gave me +31bhp at wheels on their rollers! :)

in europe they use Nm, just in uk were different lol

to get 130bhp from a gsi, id say manzal power box or velos tourqe tube and a uni chip, that should see over 130 infact

its just the car industry still using metric measurements for everything. Give me a figure in Nm and i have to convert that to lb/ft before it means anything to me.

Why is torque qoute in lb/ft? as an engineer i always qoute it as Nm (newton meters) I't like saying i wanna buy sumthing with shillings and pence

Cybermonkey

Standard, they either develop 106 or 109 BHP, depending on the engine, which is why i would like to know the year of the car.

Cybermonkey

Yes that is probably the figure at the flywheel, so its running a bit low, or the RR is not accurate. If you just bought it, give it an oil and filter change. Also check the plugs and leads. What year is the car?
