A bit of googling is telling me it may think the code has been entered incorrectly too many times and I need to wait around 12 hours to try again so I guess I will give it ago tomorrow :o

Bought a standard Corsa B tape deck to put in my GSi but it doesn't want to work and wondering if I am missing something silly.

It is replacing a standard Corsa B CD player.

Once I plug it in I turn on the ignition and press the power button, it powers on for a millisecond and they goes back off, can repeat this process as many times as I like but it never stays on.

Apparantly you have to hold down the AS button and switch it on to enter the code, tried that and still does exactly the same thing?

Any ideas? Am I doing something daft here or is the radio duff?
