Glad you got it sorted. Had similar issues on my B back in the day.

Of course it's last thing you check:/

You wouldn't keep checking after you've found the problem

Try a new Indicator stalk - they do fuck up inside sometimes.

Hold fire on that. I'll dig my Haynes out tomorrow and see the wiring diagrams. It's gonna do my head in if I don't

I asked to know if it was on the circuit for the indicators or the hazard switch.

Like gen said you could possibly just fit a resistor. Not one million percent it will work but resistor are about 50p so worth a try.

Will have to try a couple. Get a handful 1ohm 2ohm 5ohm to start with.. It could be difficult to get it to match just right with the flashing in the other side but it's worth a try.

Piece of piss to do put one for the front one for the side repeater and one rear. Just connect it in series.

I'm not sure if they will have feed and return if they do Make sure you connect it on the feed.

Nb you could fit just one resistor but putting it closest to the light itself it the easiest way to do it.

If I get a chance I'll look at the wiring diagrams in my Haynes might be able to give a better solution

@Dee25790 no it stops when the hazards witch is on ..

What does that mean?

Might be a bodge, but I think lot of cars having faster than UK spec indicators, and they fit a resistor(?) to slow it down?

Useless with electrics

Does the problem persist when you put the hazards on?

anyone else able to help with this?

All the bulbs are brand new in the headlights, rear lights and the side repearters...

Where are the usual earth locations for the lights?

I know theres one at the front for the headlight loom which is in a good place

I think theres one at the rear near one of the rear lights..

Is there any anywhere else that i can check?

Is it an mot failure that one side flashed quicker than the other?

Bad ground on any of the units on the affected side can cause a problem too.

Dont forget to check side repeaters too, people usually forget they exist

Yes Ian.. That's a bit better explained..

I indicate left and everything works fine but when I indicate right it flashes quicker ball the bulbs are illuminating..

If the bulbs are the same for the passengers side should it make a difference about wattage?

I'll try changing all the bulbs over from passengers to drivers this evening and see if anything changes..

Could be the wattage of the bulbs, to be clear - one side flashes faster than the other but all the bulbs and the dash tell tales illuminate?

When you say drivers indicator do you mean the idiot light in the instrument cluster?

Are all four indicators flashing at different times?

I've just finished my conversion.. We basically full rebuild as the car came to me as a shell..

So I've got a problem with my drivers indicator flashing quicker than the drivers side ..

All bulbs are brand new and flash when indicated..

All work properly when the hazard switch is pressed..

I think I have all the earths connected properly..

I've changed the relay and hasn't made any difference..

Has anyone come by this problem before?
