I'd personally would stick with the GM stuff myself. I always use this which is handy http://workshop-manuals.com/vauxhall/corsa-b/k__clutch_and_transmission/manual_transmission_front_wheel_drive/transmission_oil/repair_instructions/transmission_fluid_level_check/

Gives you all the info you need apart from draining the oil. But I belive you have to remove the diff casing as you said

Hi folks , just fitted a rose joint linkage and new bushes to the car. Has tightened up the gear change no end but looking at changing the oil just to be on the safe side,

Been told it specifically has to be some GM stuff ' dexron 6' ? Also will I have to take the diff casing off to get in at it?
