wow! this post is old, I'm flattered lol. I just got a bit black ugly thing from some little auto shop and it only lights the middle up, but the police leave me alone and it passes MOT's.

or u could go the cheap £5 way... like i did.... buy a fiesta/escort number plate light that just clips in... find a nice place on the bumper, (bout 4-5cm below the original light) cut a hole to fit the light, use the wires from the original light, and plug em in..

Then find a nice place under the light and use self tappers to screw into your bumper... easy!! only £5

I am having it done at a place in Cannock, I'll have to ask how much. PS do u have any pics of yours LiVe LeE? Is it by any chance light blue as I may have followed you at the Tamworth cruise last Sunday.

red corsa69, where u having it flushed, try spraynique in Stoke -saw ur from Staford - they dont charge that much extra for the recess. then use slimline lights from anohter car such as granada, escorts or sierras

My website, Fav modded cars, D4MO B.

One under there somewhere. I went to TVR through Jamie at Carisma. Was a nightmare and they said they weren't doing them anymore because of the new reg plate laws. I had to get my own letters put on the plate.

cut a hole in you back bumper with is 1 cm smaller all the way round to the number plate, buy a trick TVR plate and stick it over the hole. on the back of the bumper eather use the origial light or mount a neon next to where you cut the hole! the light will then shine though the TVR numberplate! this leaves the bumper flush and with out and ugly number plate lights!

Right, I am flushing my tailgate but keeping standard bumper and need to know:
a) where to put my numberplate
b) how to light it

I am trying to avoid going for a recess as the bodyshop will charge me quite a bit more. I know you can buy little bolts with lights on but not sure if they will pass as a proper no. plate light. Anyone else gone thru this? My other option was to have it in the back window with a neon in front of it, but again not sure what the filfth will say.
