Just rip it off and bin it. Did it with my polo and corsa. | |

I intend to put the washer over the big hole that has been created using existing nut and washer. | |

My C did this, was hanging off for a few days so did as above just got a big washer drilled a new hole and its been fine ever since | |

I've never bothered replacing them. I did on my Merc though but because of the amount of gubbins near it. | |

So I walked to my car the other day and noticed some weird noise. Looked underneath and the rear back box exhuast heat sink is loose. Most of the screws/washers that held it on are still in place but the thing has corroded around them. |
