ive got 1 to fit im just getting a second sump not drill and tap it and fir the sensor in lol wiere it up job done :) bit of thread tape to stop any potential leek - easy

oil temp gauge needs its sensor fitting in the sump. can be fitted in the plug with a new plug/sensor unit or a second boss welded into the sump just above the sump plug is the prefered location to messure oil tempreture.

This is pretty much what you need to do, there is a couple of plugs on the back of the XE you can take out and fit the pressure sender.

I really want to get a oil temp gauge fitted on my xe, just wondered if anyone on here has done it, and if its a fairly straight forward mod..
