oil temp gauge needs its sensor fitting in the sump. can be fitted in the plug with a new plug/sensor unit or a second boss welded into the sump just above the sump plug is the prefered location to messure oil tempreture.

quote: This is pretty much what you need to do, there is a couple of plugs on the back of the XE you can take out and fit the pressure sender.

Oil temp gauge? Can't you get the sump plugs that have a sensor built in?

T-piece the standard oil pressure switch and stick an electrical gauge in place.

Probably the hardest one to fit out of the usual selection of gauges tbh

I really want to get a oil temp gauge fitted on my xe, just wondered if anyone on here has done it, and if its a fairly straight forward mod.. |
