quote: I've just been out and put some grips around it and gave it my absolute all (maybe I'm just a pussy lol) but it wouldn't budge at all :( hmm, might just take it to a garage tbh. Also, do you think that pipe will fit my x16xe? Just in case this one gets ruined...

Any more thoughts guys? I've tried everything I can think of to get it out, it looks like I'm going to have to remove the pipe from the sump, but from what I can see, it just disappears into the sump with no surrounding bolts or anything to give away how its meant to be removed....

quote: Hmm, I think its stuck in there a lot more firmly than what a magnet could do, it was stuck in there so much that I put a screw driver through the ring/hoop on the dipstick, and it only broke after I put all my effort into pulling it out....
