Nope just the usual on the dash board had the coil pack replaced as well that's helped a bit won't jump either, originally tried to jump it and battery kept sparking but that's sorted now as well

Worn cam? - The cam pulley lug had sheared on mine.

Also, check the short L shaped breather on the back on the head hasn't split, i had one not start due to this.

Are you getting spark and fuel?

If I'm honest I'm not sure if it is 8v probably is tho being a 1.2 ? I am having both the idle control valve and the crank position sensor checked monday/tuesday if its niether of them any ideas what else it could be? Just so I'm prepared lol

would i be right in thinking its a single point 8 valve engine with the big butterfly valve on top gives the impression of a carb but infact it really isnt but either crank sensor is what i would be changing

Hi I was driving my 97 corsa 1.2 breeze and the power died and then the engine cut off soon after. Initiallu thought I ran out of petrol lol but that wasn't the case, put more in anyway and car still won't start had the carburetor and some electrical component replaced because they were in a bad way but still the car won't start ..

Starter, alternator and battery are all fine, and the emboliser is sweet to!

Any ideas as to whats wrong?
