Yup thats all I did. Plus also squeezed all the hoses so the Coolant bubbles up through the Expansion tank thus pushing some of the Air out of the system.

When I did mine I just did exactly as u said ran it for a bit with the cap off! But I'm not sure if u actualy have to do this, but its a good precaution to take IMO!

Changing my coolant soon and just wondering whether after connecting up all the pipes and wot not and fill up with antifreeze and water, would i need to bleed the system for air???

if i need to bleed the system, do i just let the engine warm up and leave the expansion tank cap off untill the air bubbles are release.........??
