I have a C20XE in a 1.0 shell, can't be arsed writing out how to as I'm too tired :lol: | |

m8 if yout thinking of attempting it its easy i have a c20let in a 1.0 shell im using omex mangement but the reason people say 1.0 shells r harder is because the ecu sits in the engine bay and not in the kick panel all u gota do is cut the wires back that go into the engine bay and trace them to the kick panel easy as its just follow and cut | |

The wiring is really easy on took me a hour and that was tidying them up aswell | |

i have the engine sitting in a corsa b now waiting to go in the 1.0, can i not strip the 1.0 of the old loom and replace with the loom in the redtop corsa i have? | |

yea mate everything can be done c20xe conversions are easy tbh we did it and non of us are mechanics heres the thread of the one we did in a day | |

just the wirings a pain in them if you dont know what your doing just the 1.0 s loom is in the engine bay there is various threads on the wiring and how to do it putting engine in etc is easy | |

hi all i have a 1.0 12v rolling shell, i have the redtop engine and evrything needed for the conversion, just wondering if its a big deal to do? im not the most mechanically minded person in the world, and my dad isnt too bad but far from the best. just wondered on all your opinions? shall i leave to someone who knows there stuff? also how long am i looking to do it? i spose a weekend?:o many thanks and much appreciated! once engine is in project log will be coming soon!! :wave::thumbs: |
