Aye, its a weird one. Ill get him to try the original pedal in his GSI, see what happens.

Which is about right if I remember, they don't park at zero.

Confused as to why the other pedal still has faults but not all of them.

Yup, op-com gives calculated throttle position at 6% (Idle)

ECU is the standard answer to it not being something obvious.

Still want to blame the first pedal for something if 1120 disappears with the second one.

Could also be that the GSi pedal isn't identical so they're new faults.

Can you get pedal positions in Op-com? I think TECH 2 has 0-100% range output, can't remember.

Friend has a problem with their 2004 Astra G Z16SE. It keeps going into limp home mode, so I put it on op-com and it comes up with this:

Total number of fault codes: 3

P1120 - Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor 1-2 Correlation
(08) - Present

P1122 - Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor 2 Voltage Low
(02) - Present

P1550 - Limp Home - Electronic Throttle Control Limited Performance
(0A) - Present

He also has an MK4 GSI, so we tried the thottle pedal from that, and the codes changed slightly:

Total number of fault codes: 2

P1122 - Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor 2 Voltage Low
(02) - Present

P1550 - Limp Home - Electronic Throttle Control Limited Performance
(0A) - Present

I checked the sensor voltages, Sensor 1 is sitting at 0.57v, and Sensor 2 at 4.43v. (Both at idle)

He has had it at a dealer, and they are saying ECU, but I think they might be just trying to make a fortune out of nothing?

Any ideas?
