To clear things up.. corsa 12vs 1.4/6 sports have type 2 shells, the only ones that have type 1 is the 8vs with no PAS

the speedo on my current 2.0 is electronic too so that is not a problem :). Thanks for the advice folks ;) im sure you will get more questions once i get started.

As has already been said just pull the wires required through the bulkhead and connect as usual due to the ecu on the 1.0 being in the engine bay. Its easier to actually do when its there in front of you rather then trying to describe it.
The only bit that will catch you out is the original 1.0 fuel pump relay (purple one mounted in the left footwell under glovebox) needs removed. You just use the relay in the c20xe loom and bypass the purple one.
The speedo drive is electronic on the 1.0 too.

i did my old 1.0 was just a case of tracing the wires need from the ecu plug and pulling them through the bulk head and routing them to where the are on other models, most wires where easy but a few had to get put into the fuse box to keep everything right

O right, thought they were different. My mistake.

12v is type 2 Edd so mounts will be fine.

wiring will be different. IIRC you can pull the ECU plug back through the bulkhead and just chop off the wires you need :)

Ive been thinking for a long time to change my car into a non sunroof shell that already has the electric power steering. I recently have aquired a corsa b 1.0 12v 2001 x reg with 40k miles so im going to reshell my car into it. Can anyone give me advice as to what is different with the 1.0 corsa b to the 1400 sport shell that my car is currently in. obviously i was going to just swap everything over into the new shell just wanted to check any differences.
