Yer tom ive removed the split pin haha :). Ill try soaking it. Then put in gear and sit on the brakes and drop a screwdriver through it too haha. Got the handle bars off a kids scooter as a diy breaker so that shud be alright. Cheers guys appreciate it

When I did mine I put a long screwdriver through one of the bolt wholes on the disc, turned it until it the screwdriver was resting on the hub and then undid the hubnut. The only its going to move that way is if the screw driver snaps :P

Im doing a xe conversion on my 1.2 8v. Basicly everything off and ready for the engine to come out apart from the hubs. Cant get the hub nut off the end of the drive shafts. Had someone sit on the brakes and had a home made breaker bar on it but still no joy. i just overpower the brakes. Anyone got any good idea's as to how to get it off? The only way i can think of is a impact gun?? And a can of gt80 |
