cant remember exactly, have u tried just taking the pipe off the motor and the jet off the other end, get a mouthful of water and then blow it as hard as u can down the pipe, it might be as simple as an airlock or blockage | |

right I have cleaned out the washer bottle and it still aint working so I am going to have to get the pipes mate thanks for yer help how much are the pipes ? | |

and to check if its the pipes, after u've cleared or if it already is clear the actual bottle, then take of the washer jets and suck through the water, if it wont come then eaieest thing cause they're not expensive is just to get new pipes which r clear from Halfords | |

does nop1 ever read my foOKin posts, Ive had the exact same problem it'll be a build up of gunge in the hole where the motor stalk goes, thats what mine was as I said above, but no1 listens to me | |

right if there is a leak in the pipe then do I need to get a new pipe or can it be repaired if so how much if not how much will it cost me for a new one | |

wouldnt of thought it was the motor as it still worked but not good you would know if it doesnt work as it does not make a noise. | |

I am gutted still doesnt work propperly, heres me thinking I had cracked it and I havent at all. I am going to spend the day tomorrow on me car going to wash it and sort it out got to take a few bits off that I have sold to people then I will try and sort this b@stard out cars going to be off the road for a while so have time now to get it all sorted | |

a washer motor brand new is only about £16.50 from Halfords, I brought one the other week thinking mine had gone, so I took it all apart replaced it and it still wouldnt work. | |

yes it was just over 30 quid from the local vauxhall garage what a rip off I am going to give a local spares dealer a ring and failing that I am going to visit a scrappy tomorrow | |

the washer motor is attached to the washer bottle in the engine bay - its a nightmare to get out as u have to take all the bottle out. i got charged a tenner for a washer motor | |

what motor is it mate is it actually on the washer jets or is it the one on the drivers side feller. cheers how much do u reckon it will cost me | |

ur better off getting a washer motor from a scrappies, gonna b a lot cheaper than vauxhall prices :) | |

whenever I put my washer jets on on the motorway the last few months they are sh!te, they are sometimes ok on a standard road but even then they are not 100% quite dangerous on the motorway though. Do you think it could be the motor ? if it is how much to buy a new one ? is it the one in the top left side of the engine (drivers side ) the one that controls the wiper arms too, any help hugely appreciated if its the motor I am going to get to a vauxhall garage for a new one before I go to the match at 11, many thanks, Paul....:thumbs: |
